Dankzij de lancering van de testo 300, beschikt de verwarmingsinstallateurs over een rookgasanalyser die hem toelaat om volledig digitaal te werken. Om de installateur volledig te ondersteunen, heeft Testo een app ontwikkeld - InstaLight App - die in staat is om op locatie officiële certificaten af te vaardigen. De installateur kan zijn bedrijfsgegevens vast instellen in de app. Nadien identificeert de app de technieker die met het meettoestel aan de slag zal gaan. Op locatie kan de InstaLight App via geo-locatie identificeren welk attest er nodig is. Er is keuze tussen een keuring en een periodiek onderhoud. InstaLight App begeleidt de technieker door alle stappen van het proces. Vooraf kunnen de klant- en installatiegegevens worden ingeladen in de App zodat deze makkelijk kunnen worden opgeroepen ter plaatse bij de klant. Op het einde vraagt de App de handtekening van de klant en kan de technieker ook ondertekenen waarna de certificaten in PDF kunnen verstuurd worden. Dit kan onmiddellijk of deze blijven ter beschikking op de App om later te versturen. De InstaLight app wordt ge-update en ondersteund tot eind 2020.
