An update at last!
This brings the app up-to-date with the latest version of Android, so you can continue writing and publishing anonymously on Write.as. In addition, we've made the following changes:
- Removed support for publishing over Tor
- Changed how backups work -- PLEASE NOTE they no longer persist when you uninstall the app
- Renamed the app to "Write.as Anon." to show that this only for anonymous publishing on Write.as
- Updated Settings
- Follow us on Mastodon, instead of Twitter
Write.as: Anonymous APK Description
Write.as: Anonymous is a quick, anonymous way to share your writing on the web. There's no sign up - just open the app, write something, and publish. Share the link with your Twitter followers or friends, or keep it to yourself to keep it private.
This is the anonymous side of Write.as - it doesn't allow you to log into a Write.as account. Want to create a blog or newsletter? Join us on our website, Write.as, and sign up or log into your Pro account.
App permissions
• Photos/Media/Files - for backing up posts to external storage.
• Full network access - for publishing to the web.

How to install Write.as: Anonymous APK bundles for Android
Once you have downloaded an Android App Bundle, you can install it using a dedicated app bundle installer app. You can install .apks, .xapk, split apk files, and unencrypted .apkm files using the Split APKs Installer (SAI). SAI is considered the gold standard for installing app bundles in the Android community. Here’s how to use the SAI app to install split apks. Download Write.as: Anonymous APK file (com.abunchtell.writeas_20_5675051.apk) from APKBundles.com, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.abunchtell.writeas_20_5675051.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
How to install Write.as: Anonymous APK, Split APK (APK Bundles) on Windows PC 7/8/10/11 or MAC?
Download Write.as: Anonymous APK file (com.abunchtell.writeas_20_5675051.apk) from APKBundles.com to your PC (ex: C://temp/(com.abunchtell.writeas_20_5675051.apk), then follow these steps appear on screen.
Using Emulator:
- Download And Install one Emulator Softwares (Ex: Bluestacks, GenyMotion, NoxPlayer)
- Simple install APK on PC by drag and drop file com.abunchtell.writeas_20_5675051.apk on Emulator screen
