Pills tend to blend together. This feature helps make the lines less blurred. The user can look up information on your current medication, including when they need to order a re-fill. They can also order re-fills and look at medications doctors have recently prescribed to them.
Organic Medicines
Understanding what is put into the human bodies is important to continue to lead healthy lifestyles. SnapHealth promotes this concept through displaying organic remedies to common symptoms, ranging from acne to anxiety.
Health Info
This search bar connects patients to the FDA listing of approved medicines, and also recent recalls of medication. It also allows the patient to scan the QR Code on the pill bottle to search for the medication.
Emergency
Over 70% of Americans do not know what to do in a medical emergency, so this feature is designed to help reduce this value. After picking a situation, the app will not only instruct the user what to do, but it will also give the user their current location and allow them to call 9-1-1.
Quick Fix
In quick fix, the user can select a symptom or sign from the list. This list, however, is unique since it contains the side effects from the medications listed in my medications, and also features symptoms for the common cold and flu. After the patient selects a symptom, they have the option of picking between an organic remedy or an over the counter medication.
Health Habits
Healthy habits are a built in pedometer and food log to promote the user to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Each time the user does a healthy habit, they will earn points towards their Snap Score. Also, the more exercise the user does during the day, the higher their score.
SnapScore
The user will gain more points during the day through choosing to exercise more, taking their medicine on time, and more. What fun would a score be if the user couldn’t share it with others, so of course the user can share the Snap Score on Twitter and Facebook.
