Welcome to Memoryze , a free brain training game that helps you improve your photographic memory , focus and attention .
The goal of the game is simple. You need to remember which of the circles on the screen turn green and then tap on them in order to score points and not lose your focus when they start to move around. When you've tapped on all of the circles that turned green, a new round will begin, and new green circles will start revealing themselves. Once the circles have been revealed, all of the circles will start to shuffle , so you need to pay attention . If you tap on a wrong circle you will lose a life. When all of your lives are lost, the game will end. Keep in mind that you may not tap on circles while they are moving .
Every 5 rounds, the number of green circles increases by 1. If you are unsure of how many circles will be revealed on the current round, you can look at the round number at the top of the screen. For example, round 4-3 would be the 3rd round with 4 green circles. If you forget which circles are left, you can press on the hint button. However, you only have 3 hints per game, so you need to use them with care.
This free brain training app lets you choose between 2 game modes , 2 reveal modes , and 4 difficulty levels.
Roaming mode focuses more on your short term photographic memory and your distributive attention as you will be able to tap on circles right after the revealing round finished, but the circles will continue to move while you tap on them, so you need to not lose your focus and concentration .
Shuffle mode however makes you wait for the circles to shuffle before you can start tapping, but the circles will stop moving once the shuffle round is over. This mode forces you to not rely on your immediate photographic memory but in turn does not require as much attention , focus and concentration as roaming mode .
Ordered and unordered modes determine if you need to also remember the order in which the circles are revealed, which further trains your brain and your photographic memory.
The difficulty determines the number of circles that can move at the same time . The higher the difficulty, the higher the focus and concentration needed .
To see the high scores for each category you need to select the game mode, reveal mode and difficulty from the main menu and then tap on "SCORES" at the bottom of the screen.
