Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī is one of the six major collections of hadith based on the teachings, sayings, traditions, and practices of Muhammad. Regarded as the most authentic and authoritative books in Islam, it consists of 7,275 hadiths compiled by Persian scholar Muhammad al-Bukhari around 846 CE/232 AH.
