Enhance your visit of the national mall with this AR App. With it, you'll be able to discover the Washington mall in a way not possible before. Historic milestones of the mall are collected so you know where or how they happen. Also, the app will help you point to the proper visitor channels (web sites & phone numbers) of each monument. Sort of Google Glass experience, without the glasses. Great aid for walking tours.
*Requirements*: Layar app *MUST* be installed on your phone in order for Washington Mall AR to work. Also, notice this app will *only* function where you & your phone device are located within the Washington D.C. geographical area.
Within the layer the following icons will help you identify the building category:
M: Monument or museum
S: An Smithsonian museum
F: A federal building, generally, no visits are offered
