SmartHome è un firmware per dispositivi basati sul microcontrollore ESP8266 scritto per Arduino IDE con lo scopo di realizzare moduli domotici a basso costo per rendere "intelligente" la casa.
Con SmartHome puoi facilmente controllare tapparelle, luci, interruttori, piccoli display, cancelli e portoncini (anche con tag NFC), temporizzatori, sensori, termostati, cronotermostati, monitorare consumi e molto altro.
Smarthome può essere caricato su moltissimi dispositivi come per esempio Sonoff, Shelly, Electrodragon, Hipposwitch, NodeMcu, Wemos, ESP01, prese BlitzWolf o Maxcio, qualsiasi dispositivo DIY con ESP8266, ecc. ecc. ecc.

Non ti resta che scaricare i sorgenti del firmware, configurarlo con il suo tool, compilarlo ed inviarlo al tuo dispositivo con Arduino IDE.
Poi puoi gestire il tutto con questa APP e/o con Home Assistant.
