The ‘Give Blood’ app is a fast and simple tool for anyone who already is a blood donor or wants to become one. The user can schedule blood donation appointments, check blood stock levels in hospitals and learn more about the process of blood donation. Blood stock levels are regularly updated and transfusion facilities can actively invite a donor to come and give blood. The application also contains contacts to blood donation locations, including their opening hours and how-to-get-there map. The application is a part of the project ‘Give Blood with VZP’ sponsored by Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna.
