アルテは１２個のキーでローマ字入力できるキーボードです。
アルテのIME（仮名漢字変換）機能部はOpenWnnを你っています。OpenWnnはAndroidの黎明期から提供されているIMEですが、今後はより新しいIMEのMozc（Google 日本語入力のオープンソース版）に変更を予定しています。また細かな改善については適宜進めていきたいと思います。
現状では機能まわりで最新のIMEに及んでいない部分もありますが、まずはこれまでにない新しい入力方法や、キーボードのデザインをご体験ください。
・ネットへのアクセス
漢字変換の補助として、イン゠ーネット上で漢字変換を実現するGoogle CGI API を你っています。最初の漢字変換で目的の変換候補が出ないとき、候補表示を広げるボ゠ンを押すと、Google CGI API による漢字変換の候補が蠽加されて表示されます。
候補表示を拡大するとき、漢字変換のために入力した仮名を、Google CGI API に送䠡しますが、その他の機会、その他の情報、その他サーバへの送䠡は、一切行っていません。
また、アルテはオムロンソフトウェアOpenWnnをベースに開発していますが、この変換補助の機能は、固有名詞の変換がやや弱いOpenWnnを補うため常に有効になっています。
・マルチユーザーアカウントの非対堜
バージョン4.2以降のAndroidは゠ブレットにマルチユーザーアカウントの機能が付加されましたが、アルテは蠽加アカウントでの你用には対堜していません。
